i had the most disgusting AND expensive sushi today.
i'm sorry, SushiGroove, but, i have no other words to describe you.
if GenkiSushi was still around, i will most definitely make my trip there!
but NO! it closed down on me. :( i had to settle with other sushis. and hell no, SushiKing suck big time too.
and i was already at the new wing of Pyramid, so what the heck, settled for the new sushi place.
the interior of SushiGroove was, not bad. dark place, dimmed lights, but not too bad.
the menu, WTF. seriously, i went WTF. it's NOT CHEAP. and there's not much choices.
and everything they have, is, well yeah, groovy/funky. a little too funky for my liking.
they do not have any basic things like Sake (salmon) or Spider Maki, etc.
i ordered a sushi set, the FIRST and CHEAPEST (rm26), and i thought it would be less funky.
but hell, i was wrong. :( the reason why i chose it, was because i saw something with salmon in it.
i LOVE raw salmon. but mana tau, it's some weird spicy mayo with eggs and a tiny little piece of cooked salmon.
the other 2 sushi in the set was some...funky tasting fried stuff with some weird sauce, and other one with chili sauce.
i couldn't finish it. i tried to force myself, but when i was half way there, i know i will PUKE if i continue.
a great big WHAT THE FUCK, seriously. even the salad tasted FUCKING funky. wasted rm26! WTF.
